Nandi's Smile Foundation, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable entity founded in memory of Jasmine Nandi-Marie Gordon (1992-2014), who was a 'Lupus Warrior.' Nandi's Smile Foundation seeks to empower individuals who are living with Lupus and other critical illnesses with knowledge and assistance in living a 'normal' life.
In pursuit of this vision, Nandi's Smile Foundation will provide scholarships to local high school students to pursue studies in music and STEM fields; to assist the Alliance for Lupus Research Foundation (http://www.lupusresearch.org/) with funding to continue research to find not only a cure for Lupus but ways to help those with Lupus live a long and full life. And to assist individuals and families who are living with a critical illness with medication, transportation to doctor appointments, health supplies and resources, and other needs.
